Decadence Within - Soulwound LP
Remember when Peaceville put out consistently good bands? Decadence Within where a Straight Edge Crossover band from Ledbury existing between 1984-1995. The bass duties bulk of the lyric writing were handled by one Ian Glasper who would have the same position in his next band, Stampin' Ground, who were my generations Nirvana-style-gateway equivalent for Metalheads to get into UKHC. Glasper has also been a staff writer at Terrorizer magazine for many years and has written many books about the often ignored history of UK Punk after the initial 1977 explosion, be it on UK82 and Oi, Anarcho Punk, the first wave of UKHC bands influenced by tape trading and imported records from the US, and most recently the full spectrum of UK Punk in the 90's.
