I do occasionally get people contacting me to feature their band on this blog, if you send me a link I'll at least give your band a listen and if I like what you do I get round to posting it.  That's what happened with this band.

Disguise - System Shock 7"

Members of Dublin's Crowd Control have kept busy since the break up with a varied family tree of bands covering different styles: Strong Boys (Queercore), Zom (Death Metal), The #1s (Power Pop), Fuck Mountain (Indie) and this band, Disguise, old school Japanese style D-Beat in the vein of Disclose, Crow, Confuse, etc.  You can buy it here.

Terminal State - Panic Attack 7"

D.I.Y. Hardcore from Toronto probably most famous for saying something bad about Fucked Up while they were recording, eh?  After word got back to the band of many beefs (no really, Fucked Up has deliberately tried to start feuds with as many bands as they could (Billy Talent, Protest The Hero, Hard Skin, Turbonegro, etc.)) they took the music from one of Terminal States songs and recorded a diss track over it.  After the shame of getting called out by Fucked Up, Terminal State disbanded.  Some members started a new band called Reprobates who as far as I'm aware only recorded a demo and a 7" then broke up.

Diablero - S/T 7"

Neocrust from Charm City, being the huge Wire fanboy that I am I was excited to hear they sampled Tommy Carcetti's speech from the last episode of season three, I can never remember the name of that actor, the Irish guy from Queer As Folk, the guy pretending to shoot and throw Bane's men out of a plane in The Dark Knight Rises?  I've heard he was on Game Of Thrones too but I refuse to watch it for the same reason why I didn't watch the Lord Of The Rings films, I just don't care for fantasy, I don't care if it does have tits in it, I'm a big boy now, I can find my own porn, whatever, I'm just rambling now 'cause I really don't know much about this band.

Straight Edge Kegger - Fuck Fresno LP

Female fronted Powerviolence from Fresno, California.  I could never tell if they really were Straight Edge or the name was just troll bait,  there's a picture of the singer Meg with x'ed up hands holding a hash pipe with a lighter up to her mouth.
