 D-Beat influenced Hardcore Punk from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada sharing members with White Collar. To celibrate their tour of Scandinavia they recorded this covers EP of songs by Svart Framtid, Bannlyst, Missbrukarna, Shitlickers, Lama, Pohjasakka, Enola Gay & War Of Destruction. All the lyrics have been translated into English with the exception of the Shitlickers song, which was in English to begin with.

Not Enough - Old School Hardcore 7"

 Early 2000's Hardcore with hilariously anti-Straight Edge lyrics from Lünen, Germany.  Aside from this 7" they also released two albums only on CD (boo) and a split release with the band Jason from Brazil.  File under bands that only I seem o remember or care about.

Sheer Terror - Pall In The Family 7"

New 7" on Reaper Records, there's also a CD version on Rebellion which includes the tracks from the Spite 7" and their side of the split with Old Firm Casuals.  This is the first released with a two guitar line up (Gary from Kill Your Idols is a full member now).  This is something of a concept record, all the songs on it are written about the bitter divorce that the bands current bass player, Jason went through in the year leading up to recording it.

Talk Hard - Sarah Connor's Will 7"

A brief history of my obsession with this early 2000's Boston Hardcore band.  I picked up their split 7" with Canadian Straight Edge Thrashcore band Radical Attack, really liked their side then years later I happened to find their 2nd EP in Tome Records (DIY Space For London is a pig to get to but the upside is you can shop for records between bands if you want).  Recently I got curious about their 1st EP and found you can actually find it pretty cheap on Discogs.  This was actually the first release on Don Giovanni Records, a label I would like to point out would go on to put out records by acclaimed Indie rappers such as Moor Mother and Sammus, and the fist song on their debut 7" on their label is a song about record collecting titled I Don't Like You Because You Are Black......can the term Edgelord be applied retroactively before people started using it, because I feel it really applies here.

Record collecting is cool, and that's not a lie, but why let colored vinyl determine what you buy? "If it's on black vinyl I'd rather bum a CD" you sound as dumb as someone in a fraternity but when frat kids do it there is more to admire, they respect their friends and against corporations they conspire. In the other corner are Hardcore kids, who copy CDs instead of buying records, and disrespect their friends who run labels, and also their peers who run distro tables. They share MP3s instead of supporting bands they enjoy, unless there is a marketing ploy, when the record is rare, it doesn't matter if it sucks, 'cause it can always be sold on eBay to schmucks. People who see records as an investment, disserve to fucking be molested, go play the stocks and wear a suit, 'cause I really don't think your attitude is cute. You have no right to cash in off of others hard work, seriously, you are a fucking jerk. I'd love to sink a knife into your brain, but that wouldn't really cause enough pain.

Government Flu - Singles Collection LP

80's style Hardcore from Warsaw.  One of the few Polish bands who sing in English which helps set them apart (sorry Poles, as much as I love Post Regiment a lot of your HC bands sound really samey to me).  This release compiles the tracks from their demo, the songs from the Warsaw Is Burning 7" comp and their first two EPs, they do have a Bandcamp with all of their release up for pay what you want but only have the demo and not the tracks from the three following releases to download.

Proper Hardcore by Ex-Hersey, Geriatric Unit and Army Of Flying Robots members.  Patrick the singer on the LP and following EP left when he decided he didn't want to do it any more, the band has carried on as a three piece with Gords taking over vocal duties.

Haymaker - 10 Bucks Worth Of Rope... 7"

Again, sorry for the long silence, I just started a new full time job two months ago which means I have less time to go to shows and make rips of the records I buy at shows but I did buy an irresponsible amount of vinyl at this years Chimpyfest which should keep in in content for this for a while as well as other random stuff I've picked up.

Jeff "Transpuncher" Beckman is back.  Boasting a member of both Chokehold and Left For Dead would make Haymaker infamous enough if it weren't for their reputation of rarely being able to play shows due to crowd violence and fires breaking out in clubs because of fireworks being let off by friends of the band at their behest (no, really).

This EP was originally only released with a special skate deck package with only 200 pressed, but then the band took pity on those of us who don't skate or aren't willing to pay loads just to get the 7" so a clear vinyl/sleeve version was printed with just 40 pressed.
